Wandering on D. H. Lawrence tracks

David H. Lawrence, the famous English writer and poet, author of, among others, the very famous “Lady Chatterley’s Lover,” landed in Gargnano in September 1912 with his companion Frieda, staying there until April of the following year. A stay of several months, then, not just a vacation, a surprising fact considering the restless nature of the character.
